for a pick me up. i leave my special "from kathy stuff" here by the computer. i'll have to hide it now that cait is coming home next weekend. grin.
today i have been very lonely in a weird way. i can't explain it so won't try. it was just a tough day. i worked on but didn't finish the notes for class...another person has typed the notes already so they can use hers. yay. my hands have been killing me so that was a relief. my pride almost made me keep working on the notes but the pain in my hands kept me humble.
it is so beautiful outside right now. i was wishing that i had taken a bunch of pictures today because the snow is heavy on the trees and it looks wonderful, cool and cozy all at the same time. in palmer the wind is whipping like crazy so it might start here too and we'll lose all of that beauty. sigh. i sure hope not.
i did work on gathering all of my giftie type stuff together. i also worked on some of the gifties i am making. did some sewing. that was fun. when jack got home he helped me get some menus made out so that i don't have to think about what to make. i also need to make my grocery list off of the menus. brandy and i are going out tomorrow to go shopping and i need to make sure that i get everything i will need to make the stuff on my list for at least the next two weeks. i am going to need whatever is left over for Christmas shopping.
i still have to figure out what the keeper's club girls are going to do tomorrow. they will be here around 10am until noon. i have a couple of crafts in mind and want to get the stuff ready for them. i also need to come up with a food thing to make. i am thinking banana nut muffins. i have some rotty bananas that need to get used. i still need to look at what i might need for my holiday baking as well. eep. everything all at once. i'm usually farther along with my Christmas shopping than this so i am feeling a bit on the stressy side. oh well, i am trying to remind myself not to go crazy this year. in fact i am not sending out the moose calendar anymore. sigh. that is because the newspaper that makes them is a very liberal rag that i will no longer support. bummer. i liked those calendars. now i'd better get in gear and try to get something done before we have to head out to church.
